2019 Toyota Glanza launched at RS 7.22 lakhs. Why Should you buy Glanza over Baleno? Explained in Detail!

Hey Guys,
The first product of Toyota-Suzuki partnership is finally here and it is the all new Toyota Glanza, but whether is it all new? The answer is No. It isnt an All New car as it is the Rebadged version of Maruti's Premium Hatchback Baleno. It shares its underpinnings & almost every features with the Suzuki Baleno. Even the looks are absolutely same except of the fact that it gets twin slat chrome grille at front along with Toyota badging on the car. Rest everything remains pretty much the same as Baleno, and the Glanza is manufactured by Suzuki at their Halol plant in Gujarat.
Talking about Toyota Glanza, it gets two variants G & V which are based on Baleno's Zeta & Alpha variant. Both the variants gets lots of useful features along with some modern equipments. Talking about the heart of the matter Toyota Glanza is offered with 2 engine options, both with same displacement & torque, the only differences are in slight power figures and a hybrid technology. Toyota Glanza G (MT) gets K12C Petrol engine along with a mild hybrid technology which produces 89 PS & 113 Nm, mated to a 5 speed MT. Whereas Glanza G CVT & V (MT & CVT) gets K12B Petrol engine which produces 83 PS & 113 Nm.
Toyota has managed to price it quite attractively atleast for a timebeing, G (MT) is priced at RS 7.22 lakhs, G (CVT) is priced at 8.29 lakhs, V (MT) is priced at 7.58 lakhs whereas top end trim V CVT is piced at 8.90 lakhs . All prices Ex-Showroom Delhi.
As per concerns of safety features, Toyota Glanza gets ABS+EBD+BA, dual front airbags, reverse parking sensors, isofix childseat mounts along with speed warning system as standard & in V trim you also get reverse parking camera along with some other bits.
The Interiors too would not excite you too much as they are the same as Baleno and doesnt gets anything more appealing. However we get all the features that we expect like Touchscreen Infotaintment system along with Android Auto & Apple Car Play, Steering mounted audio controls.etc.
THE MAIN QUESTION ARISES then WHY YOU SHOULD CHOOSE GLANZA over BALENO if Eveything remains the SAME?
The answer is its After Sales Service! Maruti Suzuki offers 40,000kms/2 years warranty on Baleno whereas Toyota offers 1,00,000kms/3 years warranty on Glanza which is absolutely amazing. Also Toyota is known for its Great Quality Assurance & since Toyota's service centres are more vacant as compared to Maruti's one, it is highly probable that Toyota Service Centre employees take good care of your car.
So, the decision is yours if you want to buy a Premium Hatchback among these two you can buy anyone of these as more or less both are somewhat similar.
