New Generation Hyundai Creta India Launch Confirmed for March 2020.

The South Korean Giant and India's Second Largest Car manufacturer, Hyundai Motor Company is geared up to unveil the second generation model of its most Successful Sports Utility Vehicle in India on February 6, 2020, at Delhi Auto Expo. Hyundai Creta, in its second-generation iteration, will feature all-new looks with a gazillion of features in the interior and bunch of powertrain options too.
Hyundai Motor Company has officially announced that the India Premiere of second-gen Creta will be done by the company's brand ambassador and Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan on the second media day of Auto Expo, i.e on February 6, 2020, while it will be officially launched in March this year.


The second-gen Hyundai Creta has already debuted in the Chinese market (known as ix25) and it has overall grown in the dimensions compared to its predecessor. However, there will be changes inside and out for India Specific Creta and it will sport an all-new grille with new alloys, but the split headlamp and tail-lamp unit will remain the same as the international version giving it a more futuristic look.
On the inside, the new-gen Hyundai Creta will get a massive panoramic sunroof along with a huge 10.25 inch vertically laid-out touchscreen infotainment system on the dashboard which will support features like Android Auto, Apple Car Play and Hyundai's Blue Link connectivity. The dash will get a black and beige combination and it might get an air purifier too.


Coming to the powertrain options, the new-gen Creta will borrow its engines from Kia Seltos and it will get 1.5L Petrol and 1.5L Diesel engine options producing 115bhp/144Nm and 115bhp/250Nm respectively, both mated to a 6-speed manual and an automatic gearbox. Hyundai might also offer the 1.4L Turbo-petrol unit that churns out 140bhp on tap mated to a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT.
The Hyundai Creta has always been a preferred choice among buyers looking for a mid-size SUV with Great Value for Money proposition. The New Creta is expected to carry a price tag of Rs 10-16 lakhs Ex-showroom and will rival the likes of Kia Seltos, Tata Harrier, MG Hector and Mahindra XUV 500.
