New Royal Enfield Classic 350 BS6 launched in India.

Royal Enfield has started to introduce its BS6 Compliant range of motorcycles in India, and to start off with today they have launched the BS6 compliant model of its most popular and most selling bike in its class, the Classic 350. Royal Enfield is a well-known name among the Indian buyers due to its raw feel of motorcycling and emotional attachment with its fans.
The BS4 compliant Royal Enfield Classic 350 used to get a 346cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor that churned out 19.8bhp of power and 28Nm of peak torque, mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Royal Enfield has not revealed the power and torque figures of the BS6 compliant engine but now it gets electronic fuel injection and the company claims that the fuel injection system will help to improve refinement, drivability and the ability to consistently start in the cold weather. The brand also claims that power and torque delivery is tuned to provide better performance.

The other bits remain the same and aesthetically the bike remains completely similar to prior, except the fact that now matte color variants get a new design pattern on the fuel tank. Royal Enfield has also added two new color variants in the Classic 350 family, namely Stealth black and Chrome black and the erstwhile available color variants will also be continued. All the color variants of the Classic 350 will continue to get spoke wheels with tubed tyres, but RE will now offer tubeless tyres with alloy wheels as standard on the gunmetal grey and stealth black color variants.
The motorcycle gets telescopic forks at the front and gas-charged springs at the back, while the brake duties are handled by discs at both front and end, and it also gets dual-channel ABS as standard for additional safety. The BS6 Royal Enfield Classic 350 is now pricier by around 11,000 rupees and will retail at Rs 1.65 lakhs Ex-showroom, the bookings for the BS6 version has already begun and one can book by paying a token amount of 10,000 bucks. The brand has also introduced a new after-sales service package and will now offer a three-year warranty and three years of roadside assistance.
