Royal Enfield Classic 500 Tribute Black Limited Edition revealed.

The Iconic Retro Motorcycle manufacturer Royal Enfield is world-famous for its evocative cruisers. Royal Enfield sells multiple motorcycles in India ranging from 350cc Classic motorcycles to 500cc Classics, Bullets, and some limited-edition motorcycles like the Signals edition, etc. The company also sells the most affordable twin-cylinder motorcycles in the country, the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 and the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650. And today the Classic-bike manufacturer has introduced yet another limited-edition motorcycle. The Royal Enfield Classic 500 Tribute Black Limited Edition has been revealed in India.
The future of the 500cc Classic's was already in question and Royal Enfield has today officially announced that the production of its 500cc UCE (Unit Construction Engine) will soon come to an end, taking the Classic 500, Bullet 500 and Thunderbird 500 models out of production with it. And to commemorate this occasion, the manufacturer has revealed a Classic 500 Tribute Black Limited Edition that will go on sale on February 10, 2020, between 2 pm-5 pm. The registration for the sale of these motorcycles will start from today on the company’s official website.

These Limited-edition motorcycles will be the last lot of Royal Enfields to feature the 500cc, long-stroke, single-cylinder UCE and will be made to order in a limited production run. Each of the motorcycles will carry a unique ‘End of Build’ serial number and will feature a dual-tone matte-and-gloss black colour scheme.
However, there will be no mechanical changes and the motorcycle will be powered by the same 499cc, single-cylinder engine which produces 27.2bhp of power and 41.3 Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The motorcycle also gets fuel-injection which greatly improves the refinement and helps it give a more linear throttle response.
The sale of the 500cc Royal Enfield motorcycles will be terminated post-April 2020 when BS6 norms come into effect. However, the bikes will continue to be available in the international markets and Indian customers will have access to services and spares.
