2020 Tata Harrier BS6 launched in India, priced from Rs 13.69 lakhs.



Tata Motors kick-started 2020 with a gigantic launch event at Mumbai where the company has launched not just one or two, but Four products at a time. These include Tata Altroz, and facelifted models of Tiago, Tigor and Nexon SUV. And now the company has finally launched the 2020 Tata Harrier BS6 in India with a lot of upgrades over its predecessor BS4 Harrier. The 2020 Tata Harrier BS6 has been launched today at the Delhi Auto Expo, with an introductory price starting at Rs 13.69 lakhs.

For starters, the 2020 Tata Harrier BS6 will retain its complete body-style but will get some cosmetic updates to make it look fresher. Upfront, it gets honeycomb grille with piano-black finishing which will now also get chrome surrounds, the side-profile houses new 17-inch diamond-cut alloys, and it also gets chrome-surround around the windows.


Tata Motors has also added some much-anticipated features like now it gets a panoramic sunroof, auto-dimming IRVM, new smaller and aerodynamic ORVMs, and six-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat with adjustable lumbar support. The Harrier also sports new Calypso Red color and Electronic Stability Program as standard on all the variants.
The 2020 Harrier will be powered by a BS6 compliant 2.0-litre Kryotec Diesel engine which now churns out 170bhp and 350Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. Tata Motors will now also offer a 6-speed automatic transmission on Harrier which is sourced from Hyundai. The Harrier AT will be available in three trims – XMA, XZA, and XZA+. The manual variant also gets a new XZ+ trim.


The introductory price of the 2020 Tata Harrier BS6 starts at Rs 13.69 lakhs and goes all the way up to Rs 20.25 lakhs, all prices Ex-showroom Delhi. Also, Bookings for the 2020 Harrier BS6 is already open for a token amount of Rs 50,000.
