India's Largest Scooter Manufacturer Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has today launched its yet another BS6-compliant scooter in India. Honda was the first two-wheeler manufacturer in the country to launch a BS6-compliant vehicle and it was none other than Honda Activa 125 BS6. Subsequently, the company kept upgrading its portfolio in India to comply with the upcoming stringent BS6 emission norms. The 2020 Honda Dio BS6 has been launched in India, with prices starting at Rs 59,990 Ex-showroom.

Recently, the Japanese manufacturer has launched the 2020 model of its most-selling scooter Activa, the Honda Activa 6G with a lot of upgrades over its predecessor and a new BS6-compliant 110cc engine. The same engine is also shared with the Honda Dio BS6. It is now powered by a BS6-compliant 110cc engine with programmed fuel injection, and Honda Eco Technology (HET), powered by Honda’s Enhanced Smart Power (eSP) system, along with slightly updated design and features. The instrument console also gives out other details like the total trip, clock, and service due indicator. A pass-light switch has also been added to the high beam/low beam controller switch and the side-stand indicator with engine cut off prevents engine start while the side stand is engaged.
