Skoda Vision IN Concept SUV Officially Revealed for India.


Skoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited is going to kick-start its second inning in India christened as India 2.0 project and under this strategy, they will be launching multiple India-specific cars at competitive prices to attract the Indian Car Buyers. The first car under this project is the Upcoming Skoda Vision IN mid-size SUV which will rival the likes of Upcoming 2020 Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, MG Hector and Tata Harrier.

A few days back, the Czech carmaker has revealed the sketches of the upcoming Vision IN Concept SUV, and today the car has made its World Premiere in New Delhi in its concept avatar. Starting off with its looks, the Concept SUV does look very interesting and it has a lot of funky elements to gather eye-balls on the roads.



The car gets a bolder stance with multiple creases and cuts on the hood as well as on the bonnet. The front features a more upright stance with Skoda’s signature grille and chrome-finished ribs, sleek projector headlamps with split layout, large air-intakes and a 3-slot aluminum skid plate. The side profile houses large alloy wheels with roof rails at the top, which does look functional.

At the rear, it gets sharper-looking tail lights that resemble to be connecting with the additional LED strip and reflectors placed on the bumper. What does stands out is the illuminated 3D Skoda logo. The 3-slot aluminum skid plate is also placed at the rear and it gets body-cladding all around to give it a tough look.



Skoda has revealed the interiors too and it does look premium and sporty with a lot of orange color accents. The dashboard features a free-standing screen, chrome-plated AC vents, a multi-function three-spoke steering wheel, a virtual cockpit, and a small gear knob. Also, this Upcoming Skoda Vision IN SUV will be the first product to be based on Volkswagen Group’s localized MQB A0 IN platform.

Coming to the powertrain options, it will be powered by a 1.0L, three-cylinder turbo petrol, and a 1.5L, four-cylinder turbo petrol engine. There will be no diesel engine on offer. Skoda has also confirmed that the production version of this Vision IN Concept SUV will be launched in India between April-June 2021 to rival the likes of Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and more.
